Chris is an advisor and board director for consumer brands and online retailers at a range of company stages—from early stage private to publicly listed.
Chris has an extensive background in the consumer space, having been a VC investor with Unilever Ventures in London before relocating to New York in 2014 as an early employee at Jet.com where he held senior leadership roles in business development and category management. Post Jet's acquisition by Walmart in 2016, Chris was appointed GM of the Toys & Seasonal categories for Walmart.com, a role he held during a particularly intense period of eCommerce competition between Walmart and Amazon. In 2019, Chris was hired as the first COO at Maisonette, a US venture-backed marketplace focused on the children's categories, overseeing 5x growth during his tenure.
